A lower pupil-teacher ratio. . A less exam-oriented curriculum, where students can learn at their own pace. . More involvement of parents in the education of the child - if parents to read with a child can be of tremendous help. . Better qualified teachers. . More motivated teachers. and above all . Much more time spent introducing children to reading... learning their letters and the ir sounds and words how they are structured. If a child is 'lost' at this point, when the rest of the class moves, which are likely to stay behind all through school.
