When we are too close to a problem, you can't see correctly. Our emotional attachments and prejudices prevent us from looking at the problems in ourselves and in our relationships with honesty. The panic and self-doubt often have too convince that we face major life decisions. Looking for guidance is not a sign of weakness; it does not mean the submission of his mind to the will of another. It is a way of unravelling the mind, providing a more experienced perspective to the problem or question at hand, and, very important, to have someone else in your "team". The fact of knowing that there is someone who is facing problems with you and with the hope that his success is a great emotional comfort.
