The correct answer is option d). produces an adult that is completely different from the larva.In incomplete metamorphosis there are three stages: egg, nymph, and larva. The nymph hatching from an egg, and an aspect similar to that of adults. Unlike this, in complete metamorphosis, there are 4 stages of egg, larva, pupa, and adult. In this case, the larva is completely different from that of adults. For example, the larvae of butterflies, a caterpillar is completely different to that of the adult butter fly.
