The correct answer is B. When the levels of production within a certain market are too large, it is very likely that a large excess suppply situation is generated. Therefore, there is a large amount of products not sold. The market trend would be that prices will decrease until an equilibrium level is reached. A sharp decline in prices, will result in a much lower amount of profit than initially expected by the manufacturers or, in this case, that of the fishermen. The fishing company will not have the same number of employees that had been hired for the expansion of the production targets, such as large amounts of supply do not coincide with the amounts demanded in the market. Therefore, some of the workers in this industry will lose their jobs.
