The correct answer is limited in each nation's nuclear arsenal.The SALT II Treaty between the two superpowers in world, the united States and the Soviet Union, had the purpose of limiting the nuclear arsenal of each of the two nations, and this was mainly due to the concern about another World War, and the consequences if that happens. Although the treaty was signed by both sides, in practice it had no effect, because behind the curtains of both nations, continued to increase its nuclear arsenal in the race to become the dominant country in the world.
