The Aryan religion (also known as the Vedic religion was the religion of the Indo-Aryans of the north India during the Vedic period. Their religious practice includes the liturgy and rituals for the fertility, health and wealth. The ritual consisted in the offering of sacrifices for the fire or the water and the chants in Sanskrit. In the majority of cases, the fire sacrifices were offerings such as milk, butter and vegetables, but sometimes sacrificed the cows or the horses.
