We are asked here to convert the length of a copper wire in the units of inches to units of meters. We need a conversion factor to multiply the value in order to get the equivalent in meters. Since the si unit system, we know that in 1 meter there are 100 centimeters. Therefore,1.6 cm ( 1 m / 100 cm ) = 0.016 m
