The CONVECTIVE ZONE is the region of the Sun where energy moves through circulating currents of gases.The Sun is divided into three main regions; its interior, the solar atmosphere, and the visible "surface" of the Sun.In the Sun's interior, there are three main parts; The nucleus (the Sun center), the Radiation zone (where energy is carried outward by photons as thermal radiation), and convective or convection zone (named after the dominant mode of energy flow, where the heat moves up through the turbulent convection).The photosphere separates from the sun in the inner solar atmosphere. The lower part of the solar atmosphere is called the chromosphere and its upper part is called the crown.
