The formation of AN OXIDE is more likely to be observed in a combustion reaction.A combustion reaction is a chemical reaction that involves the combustion of a hydrocarbon in oxygen to give carbon dioxide and water. In general, the reaction of combustion occurs when a fuel material reacts with an oxidizer to produce a product oxidized. The products of combustion are carbon dioxide and water, the carbon dioxide is an oxide. An oxide refers to a compound that is formed by oxygen and another element, the carbon dioxide is formed from oxygen and carbon.
