No, Because its like stealing, taking something that they don't pay Unless they were not authorized to buy and did it anyway or it would be inappropriate for them to have or harmful. Taking it away does not always mean permanently, just until you are older. Sometimes this is the part of the parents. And it could not be smart to get into a discussion about who pays what, because it's the parents that have already paid for most of the child is wearing, eating, dressing, etc
