This is absolutely false. Regardless of the background of the person, the sexual awareness is an extremely important aspect of adolescent development. Adolescence is the time when people are experiencing puberty and the hormonal and physical changes that accompany puberty. These changes of the strength of the person to deal with questions like who is attracted and in what place sex is to have in your life, just for a couple of examples. This is true for both heterosexual and homosexual.
