The triangle midsegment theorem states that if the midpoints of two sides of any triangle are joined by a line, then that line is parallel to the third side and its length is half that of the third side. With that statement, we can define that:side = 0.5 (DF)From the side OF = 38 cm, then side DF is:side DF = 38 cm / 0.5 side DF = 76 cmSince side DF = side-the DM side + MF and secondary DM = side MF therefore, the side DF = 2 side of the DM2 side DM = 76 cmside DM = 38 cm (ANSWER)
