CheyenneModern day Cheyenne was originally a campsite for US, the officers of the Army. This site was chosen to be the point of the Union Pacific Railroad crossed one of the tributaries of the river. With the railroad bringing the hope of prosperity to the area, its population grew and became a modern city.
