I have attached the answerremember that when the solution is acidic, with pH lower than 7. there are more H+ and the amino acid can take. the basic part of the amino acids taking this extra hydrogen (the nitrogen).when the pH is greater than 7, basic, there is not much H+ available. the amino acid loses a H+. the acid part of the amino acid loses a H (carboxylic acid portion).
