Answer: B. A lymphocyte is a type of white blood cell that makes up 20-40% of total white blood cells in our bodies. Our bodies use the lymphocytes to determine the specificity of the immune response. The lymphocytes originate from the stem cells of the bone marrow and are considered “b cells”, those that migrate to the thalamus are called t cells.
