The speed is the change in position divided by time.There are four intervals where the speed is uniform: 1) from 0 to 0.5 hours2) from 0.5 hours to 3 hours3) 3 to 4 hours4) 4-to 7 hoursWe are asked to say the average speed during the interval in which J. is the fastest way to travel.That is where it is most inclined, and which occur in the last interval. There, the speed is tha change in position / time = (200 -0)miles/3 hours = 67 mph.If you are not sure that this is the fastest speed, can you calculate the speed in the other intervals of the same way and compare.
