No, you only become an RN by examination (NCLEX-RN) the state board of nursing. If you have an associate's degree in nursing you can qualify to take the examination, but these regulations vary from state to state. At least one state requires the Bachelor of Nursing as entry to practice, and others would like to follow that plan.
