It was in Incheon during the Korean War. Took place from September 15, 1950, to September 19, 1950 under the code name of Operation Chromite. It was a major victory for the United Nations, in the decision of the capital Seoul with 75,000 troops and 261 naval vessels. The attacked ended with a series of victories for the North Korean people's Army and cut its supply lines in South Korea. The attack was encouraged by General Douglas MacArthur, despite the hesitations of the other generals.
