I think the answer is: the country of origin. The act of asking to the lenders in their country of origin is prohibited under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act made by the Federal trade commission.The purpose of this act is to prevent discrimination of loans that can be directed to a certain race, ethnicity or gender.
