Foods rich in fiber helps digestion, as it kept regular. High content of fiber helps bulk up the stool, and keeps the waste moving through the intestines, preventing constipation. For the fiber to work, though, you have to hydrate your body, so you need a sufficient amount of fluid, water to move waste along.
