While it is difficult to place a figure on a job with such wide variances in job scope and expectations, the average Nursing Home Administrator earns anywhere from $50,000 to $85,000 annually. This would be for an average facility is between 40-150 beds. Administrators and other operators of larger full-service retirement communities may earn more depending on their size, location and prestige. What many people thinking of entering the profession do not consider is the amount of hours and the responsibility should be legally responsible for the welfare of human beings.
