In the united States, the average cost for each veterinary text or reference book is about $200; there are often multiple recommended textbooks each term. However, the majority of veterinary students quickly realize that it is not necessary to buy all the text books and often you can limit your expenses to some reference books (anatomy, clinical pathology, radiology) are very popular). This way you can limit your text book costs less than $2000 for all of the school of veterinary medicine.
