Correct answer: B. The distance between the crests decreases"When the waves approach the shore, they become more and more close to the sea floor of slowing down, now find the friction at the bottom. This phenomenon leads to the crests of the waves to approach (inter-distance decreases). It crests begin to increase in height of the waves to compress every one of the others and still arriving at the same frequency.
