The tactics that the former slaves, african-americans use to respond to the union's strike force were: they served as scouts and spies of the UnionDue to the shortage of forces, the southern states at that time, the forces of the slaves to become a part of his army (which would be sent to the dangerous area of the war).From the enslaved African Americans knew that the union come to free them, taking advantage of his position in the army to the leak of crucial information that helps the union won the war.
