Some people of Madina went to Makkah to perform the Hajj. The holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) met in secret and invited them to embrace Islam. These were about six people. (Bait-e-Uqba -1). The next year, around seventy people embraced Islam, and offered to the Muslims to migrate from Makkah to Medina. Promised that they would sacrifice their lives to protect the Muslims migration to Medina. (Bait-e-Uqba-2) The holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) advised the Muslims to migrate to Medina. He himself, accompanied by his most devoted and dearest friend Hazrat Abu Bakr (RAU), emigrated to Medina in the 13 years of his Prophet-hood. Then, Islam spread in Madinah and within 8 years of Makkah was conquered by The holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
