How can you read faster?

Studies have shown that the so-called "speed readers" are not really understand most of what they read. If I just want to be able to say "I can't read very fast", then try "speed reading" books and web sites. If you want to really remember and understand what you are reading, then don't worry too much about how fast you read - the more you read, the faster it will be, of course, but not so fast that you do not understand.
