Progressive taxes are the amounts of taxes that increase when the payer of the income also increases. On the other hand, the taxes are regressive charged more to the low income generation of individuals. That said, the bottom the income a person has, then, the greater is the amount of tax that should be paid. The similarity of these two taxes is that both are determined on the basis of in the income of a person. Therefore, the answer is the third option.
