The triangle shown in the diagram is a right triangle (has one 90° angle), so that you can calculate the value of "x" to "in the following way: Tan(α)=Opposite side/Adjacent leg of The angle "α" is 60°, so that the opposite leg is "x" and the adjacent leg is 5. 2. By substituting these values, we have: Tan(α)=Opposite side/Adjacent leg Tan(60°)=x/5 x=(5)(Tan(60°)) x=5√3 Then, the answer is: The value of "x" is 5√3
