False.Extrusions of rocks are formed above the surface of the earth, are also known as volcanic rocks, as they are formed by the slow cooling of lava on or above the surface of the earth. These are intrusive rocks that are formed by the input of magma into a underground chamber, where it cools very slowly, resulting in the formation of a large rock crystal. Therefore, the statement is false.
