In comparison with the executive and legislative branches the main purpose of the judicial branch is "to interpret the laws".The judicial branch of government interprets the laws. At the point when the case was transmitted to the Supreme Court of justice (or some other lower common court in the united States), it is the court (judicial power) occupation of deciphering the law applicable to the situation. The Court can choose that the law is, in general, unreasonably execution or that the law was illegal in the first place. Whatever the Court decides, this becomes the point of reference of how the law should be translated. Since the Supreme Court is the highest court in the land, can decide what laws should be translated to all over the country.
