Can you tell me about some techniques how to motivate yourself?

I have recently started a new job with a good salary for beginners, but I feel very demotivated to work, as the company is not as good as I have thought it would be. Some of my friends have advised me to check online some techniques how to motivate yourself that can be helpful. I want to know what I should do to get the best job motivation because this job is my only opportunity for now, and it would be great if someone could elaborate on what is self motivation.

First of all, I would like to tell you that you are not the only one who feels like this after getting hired in a certain company. I have felt exactly the same when I got my first job a few years ago, and many of my friends experienced the same situation as well. When I first applied for a job, all the people from the company dealt with me in a very professional manner, which made me think that the whole organization was so dedicated and committed to the job, but that was not the case when I started working. Sometimes such situations could be tricky because it is meaningful to leave a job right after you get hired, and it is not always easy to find another job in a short time.

The best solution for me, as you mentioned, was to know how to motivate myself. It was my only choice because I am one of those people who could not do a job at all if I am demotivated or if I feel discouraged by other people around me. I had to get enough motivation so that I could motivate other people to do their job better in order to achieve some good results and let our team grow compared to other teams in the company. This, I guess, is one of the best work motivation techniques that I have discovered. In the beginning, it was hard, but after speaking a lot with my colleagues on a daily basis about their unique skills and how they could use them for their personal growth, they started listening to me and then they gained more self-confidence. Sometimes the key to deal with people in such situations is to help them figure out some smart ideas and solutions themselves instead of telling them what needs to be done right away, because that way, they will feel that they have discovered the right thing to do on their own, which will make them more eager to start applying it.

Regarding what self-motivation is, it is basically a set of rules and ideas that you have to follow in order to achieve better results in your professional or personal life. People are emotional by nature, and their efficiency becomes much less when they become demotivated. I personally think that the most important is to work out every day and eat healthy food to be motivated throughout the whole day.

I agree with the fact that working out and eating healthy food every day is very important for our health, motivation, and attitude as human beings in general. I usually workout every day in the morning before I go to work. Once I got lazy and stopped for a couple of weeks, I realized that I was totally demotivated to work, and I was not in a good mood to be creative at my job. I also realized that I started thinking negatively about some of my colleagues and the company in which I was working. Some people say that happened because I was used to working out for a long time, but I do not think that is the case. If you want to know how to motivate yourself, start following a healthy lifestyle and go after your dreams and goals. That will let you gain a lot of self-confidence, which will give you enough motivation to do whatever you want.
