No, you can't go to jail for non-payment of a loan. One can go to jail based on one of the two (2) however, the results of non-payment of a loan: * If the court decides that check fraud has been committed in the course of the civil action, after the decision in the civil case, the judge may pass the data to the prosecutor's office for criminal prosecution. * If the borrower has a history of non-payment of the loans, a similar process can occur the land the borrower in jail.
