Can you become a member of Students for Fair Admissions?

I fully support the goal and ideas of Students for Fair Admissions. I’ve heard about a few lawsuits against reputable establishments and I hope this student organization will prove to be effective against the discrimination of students. Our country needs to change its views on the tuition fees and admissions, especially the private establishments. So, I want to become a part of the community and fight for fair admissions as well.

It’s good to know people in our country are ready to fight for what they believe in. If you think that fair admission is a must for our country, you can easily joint the organization. It doesn’t shy away from new members and welcomes everybody willing to help.

To become a member, you don’t need to visit their office or speak with the official representatives. You can easily for it online. You just have to visit Students for Fair Admissions website and click the necessary button. I should warn that the organization asks its members to donate $10 for its cause. However, this is a small price to pay for the opportunity to change the education admissions in our country. Although not all people expect there to be an obligatory donation, I appreciate the honesty of the organization that warns about the donation right from the start and doesn’t hide its purpose. Are you ready to spare $10?

You just need to give your name, address, phone number, and email. The organization expects you to take part in the events it organizes and offer your help and assistance in cases you notice unjust admissions. Once you become its member, nothing is obligatory. You contribute to the extent of your abilities and wish. However, being an official “student for fair admissions” is an honor that requires your full attention to the case the organization fights against. If you see a case of discrimination, you should contact the administration of SFA get them all details. Have you noticed that even the home page of their website contain a contact form for those who have been neglected by an establishment to leave their complaints? This is an effective way to gather the necessary information and not miss any act of discrimination.

You should understand that unfair admissions are not only about your race. There are many excuses universities find that are not justified.

As many other organizations for students, this one is about fighting the greedy establishments and protection students.

Students for Fair Admissions has a good goal in mind. Yet, it is still unclear whether their efforts will be awarded. Their fight is a hard one and the huge establishments will not give in so easily. If you read the SFA lawsuit news carefully, you will notice that the struggle is equal, both sides are strong, and it is not easy to win.

You are also free to donate money to their cause even without becoming a member. There is a special webpage of this student organization that gives you an opportunity to donate $10 and more.

Yes, the organization welcome all students, parents, and educators who want to contribute. I know many members who devote their time to specifically looking for the discrimination in admissions that pass all information to people leading Students for Fair Admissions.

Though everybody is welcomed to join, I suspect the group would like to have more lawyers in their midst. The importance of its lawsuit against Harvard is one of the most scandalous and promising education lawsuits of the decade. Though they have many expert lawyers fighting for them, another opinion would be beneficial as well.

In case you are interested in its status, you can see all updates at the official SFA website. The leaders post any important updates that will be interesting for its members and the general public to know.
