The President and Duties of the Students love it, but get rid of the task is not something that the president could do. The Congress would have to propose a bill and then each house (the Senate and house of Representatives) would have to vote for him. If it was approved by both chambers of Congress, go to the president, that he was going to enact or veto. It is a little more complicated than that, but that is generally how it goes. With all the national and International issues to consider, it is very unlikely that they came to consider a bill to eliminate the task. In addition, although the students do not realize at the time, the task is part of the learning process. It is one of those things that the students do not appreciate at the time, but probably later in life. In fact, if they do not do their homework as they should, that very well may regret when they get older.
