Can someone recommend me some inspirational education quotes?

My son really likes philosophy, but he is not convinced with education in general, and he doesn’t want to go to college. I hope someone can recommend some inspirational education quotes that may convince him. He is constantly telling me that teaching in higher education is not the way it should be. I also hope that someone may provide me with some information about the world education forum and the higher education review journal. I hope I may be able to convince him after reading more about education.

I think I can help you with your issue, and I hope that you may find my answer useful. I am not an expert in education, but, in general, my answer is based on the experience I have had with my nephew. I have also tried to convince him by reading more about education and by checking some inspirational, educational quotes online, but unfortunately, none of that has worked, and he refused to go to college still. Anyway, I will try to do the best I can help you with this, as I know this could be frustrating sometimes, and I will tell you about most of the information I have managed to know online from different educational resources. First, here is a list of some of my favorite education quotes:

  • Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Nelson Mandela
  • The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet. Aristotle
  • Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It's about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life. Shakuntala Devi
  • There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning. Jiddu Krishnamurti

As to higher education teaching, you can try to tell your son that it could be very different from a university to another one. Maybe you can also try to talk to him about enrolling in a university abroad where he can get to learn a new foreign language and experience a new culture. Learning abroad will definitely provide him with numerous life experiences.

The world forum of education is mainly a forum that has many representatives of major international organizations that are involved in worldwide educational matters. The forum organizes many gatherings in different parts of the world every year where ministers of education can get together and exchange different ideas. As to the of high education review journal, I do not know much about it except that it is an academic journal concerned with the study and analysis of higher education. You can find the link to the journal at the end of my answer. I wish you best of luck with convincing your son to go to college.

I think I have a nice idea that may work. Convincing someone to do something that he does not want to is very difficult and hard, especially if he is already convinced that he would be doing the wrong thing, and I don’t think any education quotes may change that. I advise you to talk with your son from a logical point of view to make him understand that learning is important, and that life would be pointless and boring if we do not learn something new every day. Then you may try to talk your son into joining an online university, where he can learn anything of his choice online from anywhere and at any time he wants. He can even travel the whole world while working and learning online through an online university. Technology now has made it able for anyone now to get a university degree online.
