No, only one parent may claim a child as a dependent in any fiscal year. Whoever is the child stayed with more gets to claim them. In the 365 days of the tax year, the parent who had the child for at least 183 days to arrive to your claim. If the child stayed with both parents exactly 50% of the time, who the child stays with tax day (April 18, 2011) is submitted to claim.
