Both of must work together for the best interests of the child.\n. \n . \n Legally, yes.\n. \nA parent who retains sole rights of custody does not need the permission of the other on matters relating to the minor child.\n. \nplease note that this does not belong to the order of the court, the visitation rights of the non custodial parent.
