The correct option is B. rises toward the ceilingIn fact, the more hot the air is also the air with less density: in the hot air, the particles move faster, so that the distance between them is greater, on average. Therefore, the more hot the air is less dense, and because of that it tends to flow upwards (due to Archimedes principle) and is replaced by cooler air, creating the so-called convection current.
