Are there more books in the world than people?

I doubt that at the time. Despite the fact that at some point there will be. The number of books only gets higher each year. Once the book has been written it cannot be unwritten. Considering that the people who die each year. And some authors (especially computer books), seem to produce 2 or 3 new books each year. Then you have the books that will never be published. There are 3 people in my own family who have written books that don't publish. And now we also have e-books. More than ever, people are writing ebooks and then distributing them online while never once considered the authors.
