You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the work, both the clinical and theory, demonstrate a genuine interest in both dentistry and patient care. You should aim to get two more weeks shadowing experience before your UCAS application, as well as some patient centred community care such as care of the house. Be aware that all applicants will have degrees, and most of the offers have an application of around 12 people for every place, so that you stand out.
