Guided participation is defined as a process by which a person who is being helped by a person who has experience for a particular the practice or of the thing to the person with less experience will gain knowledge and to know what he or she does not know of. If you set this as an example for a the child, through guided participation, the child must interact with a mentor, as well that the child would be able to perform the task that he or she is not familiar with.
