I think that the correct answer of the options listed above is the second option. According to the law of conservation of energy in a closed system, the energy is going to be changed, but the matter will not be changed. The energy exchange that can happen on the sides of the system of heat transfer if it is not isolated. Also, in a closed system, matter can not be exchanged given that matter cannot enter or leave the system.
