Normally, the renaissance consorts had 3 instruments, which consist of very simple and traditional instruments, such as Recorders, this instrument usually used to provide a greater pitch of the note to the consort - Shawn , that is used to produce brash sound for the consort - Cornett, which is used to produce a low tone instrumenthope this helps
