In this question, you are given the car of the rate of gas(35 miles/ gallon) and the distance traveled by the car(700miles). Then, to find the gallon of gas required would be:distance= speed * amount of gas700 miles = 35miles/gallon * amount of gasamount of gas= 700 miles / (35miles/gallon)= 20 gallons
