First and foremost, supervisors are B. the TEACHER.To become an effective supervisor, one must know all the processes involved in the group that he or she is overseeing. If the supervisor perceives that there is an error in the performance of the tasks assigned, he or she must teach the correct way of completing that task. The supervisor must first become the master of the people under their supervision. This is to ensure that all persons under their supervision are working accordingly and effectively. If the supervisor does not know how your unit should perform, then the unit will lower output which in turn become detrimental to the performance of the company in the long term.
